Em’s been very connected to mama lately. We’ve had a lot of transitions happening. To have her snuggle in my lap while she knows it’s ‘Mama’s meditation’ time... is quite fine by me💗 I’m grateful for mornings like these.

andreabogart Hello September, I plan to stretch myself further this month! I’m jumping into my #FTYS challenge with @thenewhollywoodofficial of committing to a daily mediation and movement practice. Is there any new habit you’d like to create this month, come on board!? While I attest much of my physical flexibility comes from stretching my whole life through dance, tumbling and yoga...I’m most proud of the mindful flexibility I’ve acquired through sitting still and getting comfortably quiet with my self, and loving that person. That is what is helping me the most as I get older in my loves for being a mama and a wife and being of service through leading yoga. I am showing up as someone I’m (mostly) proud of. I will always, humbly be growing and stretching as long as my mind and body allows it. A student of life, continuing to figure things out. Who’s with me?

We’ve just been hopping around like crazy between staying at the gorgeous @macarthurplace and trying to get moved into our new home. We are finally IN✨ I can’t express how grateful I am to our hard working crew. They have done a wonderful job with what was suppose to be small changes and evolved into so much more. They transformed our home so beautifully🙏🏼 It will be fun to start showing you before and afters. For now I’m just trying to get settled. Two months of eating meals out, being in a hotel room and having challenging air conditions all during a pandemic has been an experience. I’m taking this settling in slowly and gently. Sending you all some peaceful energy and love.

andreabogart MONDAY JOY| HEY there, How are you guys? While there are so many things happening in the world that are not in our control, let’s recap a few things that are — and that create JOY✨⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
1) turning up your favorite song and getting jiggy with it, get your household involved. Dancing is an incredible mood booster.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
2) putting good energy out into the world. Be it through prayer, sitting quietly with a positive mantra or using your gorgeous smile to inspire more smiles (let your eyes do the smiling if you’re wearing your mask) ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
3) Nurture yourself with self care, nutritional foods & proper sleep⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
No matter what are circumstances are, we can choose to BE JOYFUL! Love to all of you.
andreabogart I’m thinking a cooking show is in our future with this little active kitchen helper. I would encourage every parent to invite your children at a young age to engage in preparing your meals. Teach our kids about food, and help them create healthy relationships to nutritional foods and be excited about all the wonderful things they can help make. This is home made pizza night... all organic ingredients & toppings loaded with veggies (she’s a pro at sprinkling broccoli on).
I can not explain how excited we are to get settled into our new kitchen and start cooking again. We absolutely love making our meals as a family. We enjoy amazing restaurants too but there’s nothing like cooking at home and creating well balanced nutritional food for us all!
