andrew_westermann I fight with the fact that I am of the same skin color as the cowards that took the life of Ahmaud and whether I have the right to say anything. I am ashamed to be white at this point in time. I am British and German and spent most of my childhood in America. All countries which have been plagued by racism. But what we are witnessing today is a new kind. How can this still be happening? Ahmaud should not be a hashtag on your social media. He should be alive and with his family and friends. Pursuing his dreams. The dreams that we (and with we I mean white people) are privileged to dream without fear of being brutally attacked due to our skin color. Privilege should not be of any race or color. Life is a privilege . And who are you to take that privilege from another person. It is sickening, shameful and inhuman. Stop abusing your privilege and keeping your mouth shut. Make a change and raise your voice.
