annieilonzeh Rest in Power to an icon who told so many iconic stories.
A true leader who graced us with his talents and portrayed so many heroes- Thurgood Marshall, Jackie Robinson, and THE Black Panther (to name a few).
You amplified our voices and gave us images we looked up to.
Thank you young King 👑
Defund The Police means REALLOCATING MONEY BACK INTO THE COMMUNITY. Schools, social services, parks, healthcare, community resources.
And Voting is voting for more people than a president and Vice President. There are a slew of candidates on a voter ballot- Senator, Governor, attorney general, superintendent, commissioners, Secretary of State, etc. ALL of them can make change.
This idea that you’re only voting for Biden or Trump is FALSE. #staywoke

annieilonzeh Here’s how we SUCCESSFULLY shot a movie during Covid.
-Every morning before entering set, the medic took our temp.
-Covid tests every two days (with a 24hr turn around time).
-Cast wore masks when we weren’t working. And crew wore them all the time.
-We never prepared our own food, it was individually packaged for everyone.
These are just a few of the extensive guidelines that were followed on set.
HAPPY to say EVERYONE TESTED NEGATIVE THE ENTIRE SHOOT.
Thanks to EVERYONE INVOLVED, We did it, We made history, and We are proud to show you a great movie. 🙌🏽
annieilonzeh “We must find a way to get in the way.” -John Lewis
Rest in Power🙏🏽👑
I encourage you to google John Lewis and expand yourself on the influence and impact he had in the world.
annieilonzeh This Is A Movement, Not A Moment. And the #blacklivesmatter Movement was started in 2013 in response to the acquittal of Trayvon Martin’s murderer by three WARRIORS.
These three woman founded Black Lives Matter to fight for Freedom, Liberation and Justice. They were called terrorists and a threat to America for affirming the humanity of Black people and actively responding to systemic racism.
We acknowledge you Alicia Garza, Opal Tometi, and Patrisse Khan-Cullors for organizing and fighting the fight; pushing through the discomfort and resistance from so many to create change and reform.
