buffplantbasedblonde Pre-gym shutdown (⬅️ left), 4+ months of gym shutdown (right ➡️) 👉These are CRAZY times. I personally haven't worked out in a gym in over 4 months (minus the hot second gyms actually opened here in AZ... then closed... again). These last 4 months I've stuck to home workouts using dumbbells only for strength training. Cardio has consisted of walking. I've focused on making sure my nutrition is ON POINT during the week (staying hydrated, hitting protein intake goals & keeping my calorie intake at a slight deficit) ✅ I do this so I am able to splurge a bit on the weekends (yes, this DOES consist of some delish
#PlantBased bites, brunches, vino 🍷, skinny margaritas and maybe some champagne 🥂) A girl's gotta stay sane... am I right?! 👍I also take the weekend off of tracking all of my food (I still do weigh and measure to ensure appropriate portion sizes but I do not input everything into MyFitness Pal as I would during the week).
I know this is not the time I'm personally going to build crazy muscle mass... the goal has been to maintain the muscle I DO have and not put on body fat 🚫The bottom line is that while it may be hard to do resistance training or cardio without a gym, it is ENTIRELY POSSIBLE. It is also ENTIRELY POSSIBLE to hit your fitness goals during these times. It is SUPER HARD to put on muscle mass but it is much easier to MAINTAIN the muscle mass you DO have by being consistent with your home workouts (even if you are just doing body weight).
I know many of you are in the same boat with home workouts. Regardless of the equipment you have available to you, try to keep yourself as active as possible. MOVE YOUR BODY➡️➡️ Inactivity is the quickest way to lose muscle mass 🚫You also can't expect to stop your workouts, eat and drink whatever you want during this time and not experience weight gain (you don't have to fall victim to the

We have TONS of home workouts on our YouTube channel (Green Zone Fitness) and we can even create your own CUSTOM PLAN for you based on the equipment you DO have (www. GreenZoneFit.com for all of our online training options) 😀 This won't last forever. Embrace your circumstances and STAY POSITIVE!
