Be it the chaotic and noisy lanes in Manmarziyaan or the deafening silence of Scotland in Badla, by now he surely knows that if there is one aspect of my job I thoroughly detest is dubbing. It’s almost a ritual now that I tell @dhiman.karmakar make me wear how many ever mics but don’t make me perform the scene in 4 walls of a tiny dubbing room #Dobaaraa P.S- with maximum talking n minimum dubbing in Manmarziyaan n Badla I am looking forward to NO DUBBING in this one. No pressure @dhiman.karmakar 💁🏻‍♀️

She joined in as an intern in SaandKiAankh and now as second AD if there is someone who has got the biggest visual shock to see me on these 2 sets is her! From leaping time lines in Saand Ki Aankh to jumping between time zones in #Dobaaraa @diisha_danait is still that happy face that kick starts my day 😁

From capturing the colourful frames of Manmarziyaan to being my lockdown shoot specialist DOP @sylvesterfonseca has promised me ample light even in the stormiest of nights in #Dobaaraa P.S- he has been instructed that camera focus should always be on me , including the shots where I am not in front of the camera ! 💁🏻‍♀️

From being the 2nd second AD in Pink along with an award winning guest appearance as my friend in the film to now calling the shots (literally) ! @sakshi_mehta can now double up as first AD and my body double 💁🏻‍♀️ On that note, let’s figure out a scene for us to feature in the film together so the magic is repeated #Dobaaraa P.S - thank you for not becoming an actor, you saved my career coz it’s all in the hair you see 💁🏻‍♀️

Coz he had the rare courage to say yes to my bizarre request to flip the male character written originally in Badla to female when everyone around was busy doing it the other way round and a producer could easily pitch it to a male star and safeguard his Risk quotient before release itself. P.S- also he got me for a ‘steal price’ so I’m making sure I compensate that cost in multiple films we will work together on! 😜 @sunirkheterpal 🙌🏼 cheers to bossing you #Dobaaraa

taapsee One of those films where you get so so soooo much of love on set from all the departments that you actually have to pause n think if you were worth it all. Honestly I am not very sure I was. I think everyone in this frame will vouch for the fact that there aren’t many out there to compete with his energy levels and the bullish humour , an electrifying combination of sorts. taapsee I ran behind some films and some have just thankfully fallen in my lap. This being the latter I couldn’t be more grateful to these guys and the luck line in my palm. From entering the narration with the idea to say No , to leaving it with an immediate Yes, thanks to these gentlemen for hanging by a solid script and concept for years and being more sure of me being Savi than I was.
